For many years, lasers had a bad reputation—and some of it was deserved. But not any more. With today’s technology, in the hands of skill providers, lasers provide unmatched results when it comes to skin rejuvenation and resurfacing.

Skin of colour, in particular, has not been well served in the past due to the limitations of the technology and the inexperience of the providers. Lasers were previously geared towards treating lighter skin types because they had fewer complications than darker skin types, or were thought to have greater concerns.

Today we know so much more about treating dark skin types, as well as treating the unique skin concerns of this group. And we can successfully treat all skin types.
